Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Sew-In.

A Full Sew-In installation usually takes between two to four hours depending on hair length, density, and desired style. Complex parting or custom weft placement can extend time; your stylist will provide an estimate before starting.

When installed and removed properly, a Full Sew-In protects your natural hair by reducing daily manipulation. Tight braids or prolonged wear can cause tension, so follow aftercare and visit the salon for adjustments to prevent damage.

Most clients wear a Full Sew-In for six to eight weeks with proper care. Leaving it in longer increases risk of matting and tension. We recommend regular maintenance appointments and a stylist check at six weeks to assess hair health.

Gently cleanse the scalp weekly, moisturize edges, and avoid heavy products at the roots. Sleep with a silk scarf or bonnet, and book touch-ups if braids loosen. Always consult your stylist for product recommendations.

You can still be active, but protect your sew-in from chlorine and saltwater by wearing a swim cap or rinsing and moisturizing hair immediately after. Secure braids and blot dry—prolonged exposure can shorten the lifespan of the weave.

Select hair texture and quality that blends with your natural hair and fits your lifestyle—remy or virgin hair offers best longevity. Consult our stylists for color matching, curl pattern choices, and budget-friendly options tailored to your desired look.
